Dr Trisha Nicholls obtained a Bachelor of Science, with Honours in  reproductive physiology before completing her PhD in the field. She then completed her medical degree at the University of Sydney. After returning to Melbourne, she worked for a decade in the public hospital system at both Monash and Eastern Health.

Trisha spent many years working in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, which allowed her to gain extensive experience with women’s health. She has a special interest in pelvic floor prolapse and female continence. She can provide pelvic floor assessment and both fit and change various pessaries.  Prior to her time at BFM Trisha was a GP in rural Victoria, and managed chronic medical issues including aged care and palliative care.

Outside medicine she enjoys spending time with her family, archery and travel when possible.
