Greg completed his medical training at The University of Auckland. After moving to Australia, Greg completed his Diploma in Child Health and Fellowship in General Practice.
In his spare time, Greg enjoys singing and tennis, spending time with his daughters and moonlighting as a regular TV game show contestant!
Greg Scher has a keen interest in Medicinal Cannabis. With a holistic approach to general practice, Greg utilises both CBD and THC containing products like oil and flower to treat a variety of conditions including chronic pain, insomnia, depression and anxiety. He also consults for other problems like PTSD, Irritable bowel disease, Endometriosis, TMJ dysfunction, Spasticity, Epilepsy and Palliative Care.
Greg has expanded his knowledge and experience in the area of medicinal marijuana. Greg performs a comprehensive assessment to assess his patient’s eligibility and decide which product and dose regimen is most suited for their condition. Patients are spending an average of $50 a week on cannabis medicines.

To discuss medicinal cannabis, book a long (30 minute) initial consultation with Dr Scher. For an initial face-to-face consultation, the fee is between $250-315 (medicare relatable with valid medicare card), telehealth consultation is also available.
